Development programs conducted by Helping Hands and their partners integrate many different aspects of development, including education, health care and nutrition, loan programs (micro credit) and micro enterprises. In all programs we strongly emphasize helping people to help themselves as well as effecting lasting transformation through awareness raising. A strong emphasis is also put on women's issues, human rights and other social aspects. Ideally, Helping Hands covers all aspects of development in so-called holistic programs.
